Looking northwest. // Expl. the breastworks are lower than the brow of the hill, only see lots of guns not the lower [?] carriages. // Very heavy 10 inch Columbian mounted in embrasures with traverse. // 2nd battery 8-32 pound guns. // 2-32 pound caronades. // 32 pound bone rifle gun throwing 64 pound conical ball very heavy. // 2-32 caronades."
