Verso: "Chalybeate Springs are within 3 mi. of Flat Springs Hot Springs co, Ark & they are fine tonic waters. [illegible (3 words)] the old sweet springs of Fa. The Spring is very bold water sufficient to turn a small [grind] mill. [That was] spring need to afford [illegible] For Hotel purposes. Analysis Carbonates of [Iron] Carbonate of lime. Carbonates of Mag[nesium]. [Siliants] of [Sm.] lime and Mag[nesium]. Carbonic Acid Gas. With 3 feet of the Main Spring, two smaller springs arise. One is strongly charged with [supplemented] hydrogen gas and had chemical [illegible (2 words)] the former. [illegible] the saline [sulphurated] Springs [7m.] distant those springs has even been a [illegible] for [illegible] after [illegible] [relevance] from the Flat Springs // [From] [sulphurated] Chalybeate is [illegible] about 4m near the "Crystal Springs" on property belonging to [Mr. G.W.] Lawrence."
