Verso: "In the office of the Shelter aid committee persons received the order for the following material given out (stoves, mattresses, bead [sic] steads Table) illustrated in this sketch - the scene is at the Barracks long temporary wooden sheds on Washington Street & is opposite the Shelter Committee office - the[y] present the order at the Barracks & get the material & if they have no means the com tee furnish the wagon to haul the articles. Mr O C Gilebs [?] is superior of this deptment his office is in the shelter committee building also."
