Recto: "View in Centreville La // Centreville is in St. Mary's Parish and Grand Lake & Bayou Teche flood the district for many miles. // Turn over."
Verso: "The view represents the town of Centreville La. Occupied by 116 N.Y. Col. Love with a section of Battery S. (Regular) as cover of Cavalry sent out on a scout Sept. 28th 1863 // [signed] C.E.H.Bonwill."

Condition

Vertical, horizontal, and tangent folds; dog ears at upper corners; pin mark in center; effaced paper at upper corners.
