Verso: "The Grant Place M.E. Church, Church Division, where provisions are dealt out to the sufferers of the North Division is located on the cor of Grant Place & Larabie Sts. & is [superintended] by Jas. N. Burns. Flour, bread, potatoes, meat & c. are daily given out to all those having an order. // This distributary is the 1st sub District of the District 1. // A lady gives out bread coffee & the lighter articles from this window which is at the rear basement to the right of the sketch is where the potatoes & pork or beef is given out."

Tiny holes in all corners; vertical and horizontal fold marks; torn bottom left corner.
